The cancellation of the Mobile World Congress (MWC), the world's biggest show for smartphones and related technology, has affected many smartphone makers release plans and Xiaomi is one of them.
Xiaomi said in a blog posted on Thursday that it will delay its global product launch of the latest flagship Mi 10 series planned originally for February 23, a day prior to MWC.
On February 8, Xiaomi said on Twitter that in addition to a domestic press conference, it will also hold an event at the MWC 2020 on February 23 in Barcelona, Spain, to launch the Xiaomi Mi 10 phones to the international market.

Xiaomi said in the latest blog that it is aware and understands the decision by GSMA to cancel Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2020.
It will arrange a separate launch event in Europe at a later date, where it will share information on the Mi 10 series and more amazing products.
Xiaomi Mi 10 was unveiled on Thursday. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 865 processor and uses a 6.67-inch 90Hz custom AMOLED curved screen.
The entire line is equipped with LPDDR5 memory, Wi-Fi 6, UFS 3.0 storage, and a 100-megapixel rear quad camera module. It has a built-in 4780mAh custom bar. Rechargeable battery, support 30W wired fast flash charge + 30W wireless fast flash charge + 10W wireless reverse charge.

Earlier, regarding GSMA's decision to cancel MWC 2020, Huawei said that it respected the decision and also thanked the organizers and the Spanish government for their efforts for this event.
