Huawei released the Mate 30 Pro smartphone last year, but its listing in overseas markets has gone through a long process. Now this Android flagship without preinstalled Google services has finally landed in the UK market.
Huawei announced that the Mate 30 Pro will be available exclusively at Carphone Warehouse on February 20 for £899.
After pre-registering, users will get a good bundle, which includes the free Huawei FreeBuds 3 wireless headphones and Huawei Watch GT2 watches, while stocks last.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro only has a space silver version, and only 4G version for UK customers.
Like other European regions, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro in the UK market will not support Google Mobile Services (GMS). This means there is no Google Play Store, Search, Maps, Gmail, etc. Instead, the Mate 30 Pro will rely on Huawei's own AppGallery store and the Amazon App Store.
Carphone Warehouse has taken a wise move, saying it will provide a “dedicated VIP support team” for Huawei Mate 30 Pro buyers to guide them to use smartphones without GMS.
