TikTok claims to have more than 400 million daily active users in China-CnTechPost

As of January 5, 2020, the number of daily active users of Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok, has exceeded 400 million, Douyin said on Monday in the 2019 data report.

The report shows that in 2019, Douyin took advantage of the platform to make more efforts to disseminate knowledge, art and non-heritage, and has become China's largest knowledge, art and non-heritage dissemination platform.

The report shows that the most popular poverty spot in Douyin in 2019 is the Laojun Mountain Scenic Spot in Luanchuan County, Henan Province. Douyin's โ€œTour in the Mountains Dou is a Good Sceneryโ€ project initiated by Douyin has helped Libo and Leishan get rid of poverty and become rich.

In 2019, Douyin will also fully open 15-minute videos, launch a creator service center, build a richer and more diverse content ecosystem, and bring greater value to users.

Zhang Nan, CEO of Douyin, said that 400 million is a new beginning. Douyin will continue to work hard to make records and share, so that more people see the bigger world, and more people are seen by the bigger world.
