ZWSOFT CAD Linux, CAD software made by a Chinese team, has been adapted to the China-made Unity Operating System (UOS), becoming the first Linux-based CAD product for the system.

ZWSOFT also provides a variety of adaptation solutions based on different CPU architectures. At this stage, it is compatible with mainstream chips such as Kunpeng, Zhaoxin, Loongson, and Feiteng, Union Tech, the company behind the UOS said on Monday.

As the worldโ€™s leading CAD / CAM software and services provider, ZWSOFT is the only software company possessing independent intellectual property rights for both 2D CAD (ZWCAD) and 3D CAD / CAM (ZW3D) in China, according to its official website.

In the current increasingly complicated international environment, domestic operating systems are being concerned and applied by more and more users. However, the only CAD software on the market that can support Linux systems are foreign brands and the adaptation of domestic CPUs is not perfect.

Zhou Gang, technical director of ZWSOFT, said, โ€œZWSOFT relies on strong R & D capabilities and keen insight into user needs, and began to distribute and develop ZWSOFT CAD products based on Linux systems in 2016. With the ZWSOFT CAD for Linux With the launch of the product, the majority of domestic Linux system users can more flexibly choose and apply domestic CAD software with higher cost performance. "

As professional CAD design software, the pre-installed version of ZWSOFT CAD Linux has enough regular functions that can satisfy users' daily design work.

ZWSOFT CAD Linux provides basic drawing editing and intelligent marking and printing functions. Users can use it without re-learning or changing habits.

ZWSOFT CAD Linux version has strong compatibility and can be seamlessly compatible with mainstream DWG / DXF drawing formats. Users can directly read and save common drawing information, thereby ensuring the reusability of existing drawing resources and the continuity of design work.
